I am opening the doors to another Womb Healing Ceremony for women from all walks of life, who feel called to reconnect with their body, their feminine wisdom and the deeper creative life force that lives within them.
The womb has always been seen as a powerful centre of creation. It is where life can be conceived and nurtured, but it is also a powerful metaphor for our own capacity to create, gestate and bring new things into the world. Our dreams, ideas, passions, relationships, identities and new versions of ourselves all begin somewhere before they become visible.
For me, womb work is not about seeing the womb as something broken that needs to be fixed. It is about remembering our relationship with this part of ourselves and learning to listen to the body again.
So many women have become disconnected from their bodies. We spend so much of our lives thinking, analysing, achieving, caring for others and trying to hold everything together that we can lose touch with the quieter language of the body — our sensations, intuition, desires, boundaries, sensuality and inner knowing.
This ceremony is an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with that part of yourself.
Our experiences as women can profoundly affect the way we relate to our bodies. Grief, heartbreak, sexual experiences, pregnancy and reproductive experiences, relationships, shame, loss, suppressed emotions and experiences that we have never fully processed can all influence how safe, connected and present we feel within our own body.
Sometimes we don’t consciously realise how much we have disconnected. We simply know that something feels missing.
Through womb healing, we create a space to gently bring our awareness back to the pelvic and womb area and listen to what the body may be communicating. Through meditation, breath, movement, sound, shamanic journeying and ritual, we allow whatever is ready to be felt, expressed or released to move through us.
This isn’t about forcing a release or trying to create a particular experience. It is about creating the conditions for the body to speak and allowing ourselves to listen.
The womb can also be a beautiful place from which to explore our creativity and our ability to bring something new into being. When we reconnect with our centre, we can begin to ask ourselves what we are ready to create now, what dreams or desires have been waiting for our attention, and what part of ourselves is ready to emerge.
We begin by creating sacred space and setting an intention for the journey. I will then guide you through a Womb & Ovarian Purification Meditation, bringing your awareness into your pelvic bowl and womb space.
From there, we move into a shamanic drum journey. The rhythm of the drum, combined with guided visualisation and my voice, can help you enter an altered state of consciousness where you can explore your own inner landscape in a different way.
You may receive images, sensations, memories, emotions, symbols or insights. You may experience something very profound, or something very simple. There is no right experience to have. The journey is yours.
We then bring the experience into the body through somatic movement and sensual release. This isn’t about learning choreography or performing. It is about giving the body permission to move in the way it wants to move, allowing sensation, emotion and energy to be expressed rather than held inside.
We will also work with the idea of energetic attachments and relationships that may still occupy space within us. Through a symbolic Cord-Cutting Ritual, you will have an opportunity to consciously release old relationships, patterns, emotional ties, or identities that you feel ready to let go of and call your energy back to yourself.
The ceremony will culminate with the Rite of the Womb, also known as the 13th Rite of the Munay-Ki.
The Rite of the Womb is a sacred feminine transmission traditionally shared as a ceremony of releasing old patterns and reconnecting with the creative and life-giving nature of the feminine.
For me, this rite is not about becoming someone different. It is about remembering something that is already within you.
We create a sacred space to receive the rite, connect with your intention and allow the experience to settle into the body.
You may come with something specific you would like to release, or simply with the intention to deepen your relationship with your body and your feminine centre.
This ceremony may speak to you if you feel disconnected from your body or sensuality, if you spend a lot of time in your head and find it difficult to listen to your body’s signals, or if you feel called to reconnect with your intuition and feminine energy.
It may also be meaningful if you have experienced grief, heartbreak, abortion, miscarriage, difficult relationships or other experiences that have changed your relationship with your body and sexuality. You do not need to have experienced any of these things to participate.
You may simply feel that you have lost touch with yourself and want to come home to your body.
You may also be at a point in your life where something new wants to be created. Perhaps it is a new relationship with yourself, a creative project, a new direction in life, a new identity, a dream you have been putting aside, or simply a desire to live with more truth and freedom.
This ceremony gives you space to explore that.
One of the things I love most about working with the womb is that it isn’t only about what we have carried from the past.
The womb is also a place of creation.
It is the place where something can begin before it has taken form.
So alongside whatever you may be ready to release, I invite you to bring awareness to what you are ready to create. What is asking to be born through you? What part of your life wants more of your attention? What would it feel like to create from a deeper connection with your body rather than from the constant noise of the mind?
This is where womb work becomes a practice of embodiment and creation, not simply healing.

Patricia Goncalves is a somatic and shamanic facilitator, breathwork practitioner, Munay-Ki teacher and former Mental Health Nurse who has spent more than a decade working with people through different forms of personal and embodied transformation.
Her work brings together shamanic journeying, breath, somatic movement, sound, ritual and altered states of consciousness. Rather than telling people what they should experience, Patricia creates experiential spaces where participants can explore their own bodies, inner landscapes and innate capacity for healing and transformation.
Her work is grounded in the belief that we have access to much more within ourselves than we are often taught to trust.
Limited to 20 women.
